Grievance Committee is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders (students, parents, staff, and non-staff) in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.

Roles and Responsibilities of Grievance Committee
The Grievance Committee is established to take up the responsibility of maintaining the smooth functioning of Carmel Convent School and all its stakeholders.
It performs the following roles:
Committee members should have integrity, probity, sincerity, and credibility.
Develop and implement proactive measures and activities to prevent grievances among employees, students, workers, and parents.
Document minutes of meeting proceedings and grievances received in an orderly manner.
Communicate with the concerned committee regarding received grievances after discussion.
Functions of the Committee
The committee is responsible for addressing complaints lodged by any student or parent and judging their merit.
The Grievance Committee is empowered to address matters of harassment.
The committee receives complaints, sets a date for hearing, and communicates its decision within 10 days of receipt.
Ensure prompt disposal of each grievance, preferably within a month.
Take appropriate action against false or frivolous complaints.
Conclude proceedings with orders deemed fit for grievance redressal.
Objectives of the Grievance Committee
The Grievance Committee aims to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all stakeholders to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere at Carmel Convent School. Its specific objectives include:
Maintaining a strife-free atmosphere in the school by promoting cordial student and teacher relationships.
Encouraging students to express their grievances or problems freely without fear of victimization.
Installing a suggestion box in front of the office room and the academic block for anonymous submissions.
Advising students to refrain from inciting others and not acting vindictively for any reason.
Urgently bringing any disciplinary rule violations to the notice of the Head Mistress.

Grievances related to harassment by students, teachers, etc.
